Although Logitech has long produced some of the most affordable gaming headsets on the market, what happens when the company sets its sights on something more luxurious. Review On Logitech G935 Wireless Gaming Headset

Many years ago, the gaming headset market was still figuring out what users wanted in a headset. However, the feature set has become fairly standard in recent years, making it difficult for individual headsets to stand out. It’s not uncommon for differences to show up in the design of hardware, the software that comes with it, and, of course, the overall sound quality that each headset is capable of producing. As expected from Logitech, Logitech’s G935 wireless gaming headset has a lot to offer. Logitech’s G HUB software allows for a great deal of personalization, and there are a plethora of ways to put the gear to use.

Those familiar with Logitech’s G933 high-end gaming headset will feel right at home with the G950. They appear to be nearly identical at first glance. Logitech’s G935 gaming mouse isn’t cheap at $179, but that doesn’t matter because of all of the great features it offers.

Gaming Exprience With Logitech G935

All things considered, the Logitech G935 wireless headset provides a solid gaming accessory. Games like Overwatch, Risk of Rain 2, and League of Legends ran smoothly on it, as did other popular PC titles like these. When used with the G Hub app, the headset provides DTS:X 2.0 surround sound with decently accurate directional audio during Overwatch matches. If you’re playing a battle royale game like Fortnite or PUBG and want the sounds occurring behind you to be louder, the G Hub app lets you adjust the volume in different directions.

Although the G Hub features (including surround sound) aren’t available when playing console games, headset games with stereo sound work very well. Both Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ mellow soundtrack and Tetris 99’s retro electronic theme on the Nintendo Switch sounded fantastic. You’re out of luck if you want to play a game that relies on the Switch’s draconian app chat system because gaming headset microphones aren’t supported by most games on the Switch. Dauntless, Warframe, and Fortnite are all playable on this system without a problem.

Audio Quality

As opposed to looking at a pair of wireless headphones, we need to consider two different sound profiles (gaming and music) as well as two different connectivity options (wired and wireless).
If you’re looking to improve your gaming audio experience, It’s difficult to tell how much of a difference the G935 made in Anthem because it was a brand-new experience. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent use of surround sound in Doom. My senses were heightened, and I was able to detect enemies lurking behind me and eliminate them before they could harm me. The conversation with my partner, whether it’s a meeting or a friendly talk, was particularly impressed with how clear my voice sounded when we used Discord’s wireless connection to talk.

While The game’s audio was fine. If you’re looking for a pair of high-quality headphones, look no further than these. The customers are given feedback during playing the game with a few friends on a regular basis. The Logitech G Pro headset is my favorite because of its lightweight, solid microphone, and the nylon-wrapped 3.5mm audio cable it comes with, which I use when playing with them. The rubberized cable on the Logitech G935 wireless headset is acceptable. In addition to being able to cling to zippers, it also has a small amount of shape memory. But I’m a little bummed that the nylon cable didn’t manage to jump over the gap.

Logitech G935 Wireless headset Microphone

The G935 is a decent set of music headphones for a gaming headset. I’ll be the first to admit that I have a slight preference for headphones designed specifically for listening to music. In terms of volume and clarity, my M50x headphones outperform the Logitech G935 wireless headset. When compared to the G935’s default configuration, the G935 appears to offer less instrument separation and is more bass-heavy. For example, the drums in Metallica’s “Of Wolf and Man” lacked the impact I’d expected. “Blue in Green” by Miles Davis sounded restrained.
However, I was satisfied with the sound and don’t believe the differences will be noticeable unless you have strong feelings about music headphones.

Battery Life of Logitech G935

This headset is rated to last up to 12 hours on a single charge with the lights off, but in our testing, we found that it lasted for around 13hours on a single charge with lights on. Your results may improve even further should they be disabled. Despite the fact that it appears impressive in comparison to the company’s claims, it isn’t particularly noteworthy. Battery life of this kind isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but with wireless gaming headsets pushing 30 hours of playtime on a single charge, it’s also not particularly good.

Connectivity And Accessibility

This is a wireless gaming headset that connects to your computer via a 2.4GHz wireless USB dongle, as is the case with nearly every other product in its class. It’s designed for PC use, but we were able to test it out on a docked Playstation 4 and a docked Nintendo Switch and it worked flawlessly. Xbox One users will need to use the included 3.5mm cable.

Key Decision: Should You Buy Logitech G935 Wireless Headset?

In terms of gaming headsets, the Logitech G935 is an excellent choice, it just feels a little out of date. The Logitech G432 and Razer Nari come to mind when thinking of this headset’s hefty build, rigid earpads, and disappointingly short battery life. Newer headsets offer all the same features and more with more subtle designs and for lower prices, so buying it isn’t necessarily wrong.

The G935’s head pressure and console/wired sound quality are the only things I can think of to criticize. It’s a rockstar in every other department but one.. It has a long battery life and all the features you’d expect from a high-end gaming headset, such as a lift-to-mute microphone, surround sound, and EQ. A significant improvement is also felt over Headphone:X 2.0 by DTS.

The G935 may not be the best choice if you prefer to play on a console or mobile phone, but if you prefer to play on a PC, the G935 is worth every penny of its $179 price tag.
